Milli Eğitim Bakanı Ziya Selçuk, rehber öğretmenler için hazırlanan kitaptaki çizimlere yönelik yapılan eleştirilerle ilgili olarak yazılı bir açıklama yaptı. Bakan Selçuk, açıklamasında, 3 yıl önce rehber öğretmenlere hizmet içi eğitim programı kapsamında hazırlanan ‘Psikososyal Önleyici Destek Programı’ kitabında yer alan görsellere ilişkin eleştirilere yanıt verdi. Bakan Selçuk, kitabın içeriğini tek tek incelediğini söyledi.

Milli Eğitim Bakanı Ziya Selçuk “Öncelikle çocuğun gördüğü bir kitap değil. UNICEF ile hazırlanan ve 7 ayrı kitaptan oluşan sette son derece yararlı içerikler var. İçinde başı açık anneler de var, başı açık ve kapalı annelerin bir arada olduğu çizimler de var. Genellikle pozitif örnekler bulunuyor, 150′nin üzerinde resimden sadece ikisinde olumsuz örnek çizim var, ikisi de başı açık çizilmiş. Eğer kasıtlı ise bunu onaylamamız söz konusu olamaz. Nitekim inceleme başlattık” dedi.
