Alınan ortak karar çok önemli. Eğitim fakültelerine yeni öğrenci alımı, MEB’in ihtiyaçlarına göre belirlenip ona göre öğrenci kontenjanları belirlenecek.
Ben bu köşede olsun, daha önce çalıştığım gazetelerde olsun, sürekli olarak, MEB’ve YÖK’ün bir araya gelip, eğitim fakültelerine ihtiyaca göre kontenjan belirlemelerini yazdım. Ama hiç kimse ve hiçbir kurum ne bana ne de başkalarının uyarılarına hiç aldırış etmediler, eğitim fakültelerine yığınla öğrenci alınmaya devam edildi.
Gelinen nokta pek iyi değil. Yüzbeinlerce eğitim fakültesi mezunu atama bekleyip duruyor ama, bir işe yaramıyor. Eğitim fakültelerinde ise 250 bine yakın öğrenci eğitim görüyor. Sorun gerçekten çığ haline gelmiş.
Neyse sonunda MEB ve YÖK hiç olmazsa bir araya gelip ihtiyaca göre kontenjan belirleme konusunda bir ilerleme kaydettiler. Bu da önemli bir gelişme. İnşallah MEB ve YÖK daha güzel projeler üretirler.
