Bu çok önemli konuya Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı ve hükümetler nedense fazla ilgi göstermiyorlar. Bu konu hep kulak arkası ediliyor. İyi mi ediliyor, elbette hayır.
ERG’İN EĞİTİM İZLEME RAPORU
Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı da, hükümetler de bu önemli konu ile igilenmiyorlar ama, bereket versin sivil toplum kuruluşları, onların arasında yer alan öğretmen sendikalarından bir kısmı bu konuyu sürekli olarak gündeme getiriyorlar. İşte onlardan birisi. Eğitim Reformu Girişimi (ERG) önemli bir çalışma gerçekleştirmiş her zaman olduğu gibi. “Eğitim İzleme Raporu” hazırlamış. ERG’in raporunda önemli ve de dikkat çekici bilgiler yer alıyor. ERG raporunda şu görüşlere yer veriliyor:
“Eğitim Reformu Girişimi’nin (ERG) ‘Eğitim İzleme Raporu 2017-2018’e göre, erkeklerin yüzde 31’i, kadınların ise yüzde 34’ü okulu bırakıyor. Ayrıca gençlerin yaklaşık yüzde 30’u ne okula gidiyor ne çalışıyor. Ülkemizde öğrenciler, birçok nedenle eğitimden erken ayrılmak zorunda kalıyor. ERG’in raporuna göre, 15-29 yas arasındaki genclerin yüzde 27.2’si ne öğrenim görüyor ne de bir işte çalışıyor. Ortaöğretim çağında olan 14-17 yaş aralığındaki 332 bin 956 çocuk ise örgün eğitim yerine açıköğretime devam ediyor.”
Evet raporda yer alan bilgiler böyle. Artık MEB de, hükümetler de bu önemli konu ile ilgilenmeliler. Görev onlara düşüyor ve çözüm üretmek de.
