Hazırlanan bilgilendirme notunda logo uygulamasının amacı, “Çocuklarımızın güvenilir gıdalarla dengeli ve yeterli beslenmesini sağlamak amacıyla okul gıdalarında ortak logo uygulamasına geçilmesi; okul çağı çocuklarının bilinçli gıda tüketme konusunda bilgi sahibi olmalarını sağlayacaktır. Kantin denetimleri daha etkin birşekilde yapılabileceği gibi kantinciler açısından da satışı yapılacak ürünlerin belirlenmesi açısından kolaylıklar sağlayacaktır” diye anlatıldı.
OKUL DIŞINDA SATILAMAYACAK
Bilgi notunda, “Okul gıdası” logosunu, Tarım ve Orman Bakanlığı’ndan İşletme Kayıt/Onay Belgesi alan gıda işletmecilerinin, Okul Sağlığı Bilim Kurulu’nun oluşturduğu kriterlere uygun olarak üretilen hazır ambalajlı gıdalarda herhangi bir başvuruya gerek kalmaksızın kullanacağı kaydedildi.
Notta ayrıca Bilim Kurulu’nun okullarda yasakladığı gıda ve içecekler için logo kullanılamayacağı vurgulanırken, etiketinde logo bulunan gıdaların okullar dışında satılamayacağı da belirtildi. Satılamayacaklar listesindeki ürünler ise şu şekilde:
