Okutur, öğrencilere, “Hedeflerinizi bugünden koyarak adımlarınızı bu hedeflere göre atmalısınız. İnandığınız hedefleri gerçekleştirecek gücünüz olduğunu bilmeli ve kararlı bir şekilde yolunuzda ilerlemelisiniz” dedi.
En küçük paraya talip oldum
İşletme Mühendisliği eğitimi aldığını ancak perakende sektörünün önemini fark ettikten sonra bu alanda ilerlemeye karar verdiğini ifade eden Okutur, “Perakende sektöründe olmak istiyordum ama sermayem yoktu. İnsanların cebindeki en küçük paraya talip olmaya karar verdim. İnsanların ceplerindeki en küçük parayla en çok satın aldıkları ürünlerin listesini çıkardım. Bu listede 2. sırada simit vardı. Simitçi olmaya karar verdim. Simit, geleneksel bir ürünümüz ve hem sağlıklı hem de lezzetli. Araştırmalarım sonucunda çok sevilmesinin yanında çok kötü koşullarda üretildiğini ve satıldığını fark ettim. İlk mağazayı açtıktan sonra 2020 hedeflerimize 2008 yılında ulaştık” şeklinde konuştu.
Hedeflerinizi şimdiden belirleyin
Öğrencilere tavsiyelerde de bulunan Okutur, şöyle konuştu:
“Eskiden insanlar tecrübelerini ‘Meslek sırrı’ diyerek paylaşmazdı. Şimdi bu durum değişti. Herkes tecrübesini paylaşıyor. En önemli sermaye tecrübedir. Planlarınızı eğer bu tecrübelere göre yaparsanız yapılan birçok hatayı yapmazsınız. Hedeflerinizi bugünden koyarak adımlarınızı bu hedeflere göre atmalısınız. İnandığınız hedefleri gerçekleştirecek gücünüz olduğunu bilmeli ve kararlı bir şekilde yolunuzda ilerlemelisiniz.”
